white, party of 4!!!

soon enough...our blog name will have to change...

we found out in early december (just b/f garrett's first birthday) that baby white #2 is on his/her way in early august (due date is officially aug. 7; which makes me about 11.5 weeks along)! we are excited & certainly feel blessed beyond belief to be entrusted by God with the life of another child. we also feel a bit nervous about all that life with 2 under 2 will bring (garrett will be around 20 months when Itty Bitty - as we're calling this one - comes along)! it will be fun, it will be challenging & it will be yet another chapter in the amazing journey of parenthood.

we hope that 2009 is off to a great start for you & yours!
the white's...all 4 of us!

ps - yes, i took 3 tests. i was shocked. i had to be sure. :-)

You guys are too cute! Congrats.
Is G-man going to call his sibling "Itty Bitty," too? That would be cute.

So happy for you! What is one more, right? I just keep telling myself that so I will feel better. I also tell myself that at least they come out and they sleep alot and they don't go anywhere when you put them down. Anyway, hope you are feeling better and I will try to shoot you an email with my mac-n-cheese. Wait it is so simple. I use Aunt Annie's organic Mix but good old Kraft would work. Then I add cheese and use plain yogurt instead of the milk or butter. Most of the time I also puree squash and zuccini or broccoli and throw it in too so I feel better for eating all that cheese. The boys also love it and get their veggies in. I also just clipped a baked mac-n-cheese so I will have to try it and let you know. Do you have any good chocolate recipes? That is what I am craving this time! Again, congrats!

Whoohoo! This is going to be fun! So many friends who have kids close together say that initially it's a little crazy, but when the baby gets a little older, it's like built-in BFF. You guys will make the transition flawlessly, I'm sure. So excited for you!!
